Here’s memory project Zaha Hadid Architects
The project is located on the northern slope of a hill in Barvikha, Russia, immersed in a dense forest of pine trees where the heights of trees can reach 20 [m].
The agenda of the town is divided into 2 main components. The first consists of a layer that is born of the level of the slope, while separate volumes floating about 22 meters above ground level to benefit from the panoramic view of the wooded context of Barvikha.
The shape of the village comes from the natural topography of the land and the site considered to be unique. Adapting the geometry smoothly, described by the geology of the site and the organic forms of forest and vegetation, the building emerge from the landscape, remaining partially connected to the slope of the hill, in order to articulate the alrrededores existing geography that the artificial project entails.
This concept of joint inter-organizational drift into an intricate layers of spatiality, presented themselves as part of a whole where each component seeks to refer to the local topography.
The general concept for the design of the town responds to a strategy of extending the topography exterior to the interior of the building, while its geometric definition derives from the context of the surrounding rugged terrain.
The agenda of the villa is organized into four vertical levels. The lowest level is designed as a place of leisure with a living room, massage rooms and fitness areas, as well as sauna and spa. A level above the natural soil, the main living room, dining room, kitchen, entertainment area, indoor pool and outdoor parking for cars.
The entrance to the lobby, elestudi / bookstore, the piece of guests and children are on the first floor, while the main pieces and a lounge with outside terrace are at the highest levels.
The two main components of the house are articulated by 3 “legs”. These columns provide a strong concrete dialogue between the various levels together with function as the main structure of the house. These vertical columns are the shafts required to locate all mechanical components and services connecting with the higher level.
The vertical movement of the elevator of a home-box-ladder-glazed, is also incorporated in these columns, providing direct connection to lower levels and above.
